Bodywise By Betty provides a fun, one of a kind, after-school fitness experience for kids (click) combined with nutrition and healthy life-style education. I have developed very unique and exhilarating, kid and family friendly programs which primarily utilize the exercise system of Rebounding (aerobic on a mini-trampoline). Our custom designed Rebounding classes for kids are often combined with other fun exercise venues such as:
REBOUNDING WITH:
Jump Rope Sports (single & double rope)
Hula Hoops Aerobics
Kickboxing Aerobics
Kid's Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates & Stability Ball
Chinese Jump Rope
Kids learn Mandarin Chinese through songs as they learn this fun, heart pounding. leg strengthening favorite pastime exercise
Fun Fit Kids Club is a friendly-family oriented program sponsored by the Stamford Youth Foundation & The Stamford Hospital. Classes are held on Saturdays mornings. Go to www.stamfordyouth.org, for times & location.
Bodywise by Betty’s programs are based on the philosophy that FUN fitness and guidance about nutrition at a young age , with family involvement, can help kids develop good habits, which will lead to a healthier lifestyle and better confidence and self-esteem. Our mission is to help children and families be physically fit and lead healthier happy lives.
The Bodywise Rebounding programs are developed by Betty Kelly-Camlin, a certified personal/youth fitness trainer and RCY, Master Rebounding instructor, and medical professional, with the help of other professional women who specialize in Yoga, Physical Therapy and Psychology. Our classes are taught by certified professionals in their fields and our approach to exercise is non-competitive. Each child is encouraged to find a pace that is comfortable for them. EVERYONE who participates is a winner!
